Ballistic has an option to acquire a 100% interest in a Lithium pegmatite-rich concession located in the Solonópole pegmatite district of Ceara State, Northeast Brazil, approximately 40km from the city of Solonópole, in an active mining area. This concession consists of 4 mining claims and spans over 4,813 hectares in size. Recent 2023 samples returned a number of very encouraging lithium grades up to 5.03% Li2O.
The Solonópole permits cover historic artisanal mining sites previously mined for lithium, Coltan (tantalum and niobium), and tin. Historical small-scale mines have been identified in field exploration, creating large-scale opportunities with significantly underexplored highly prospective claims.
A regional geological assessment of the Solonópole Pegmatites was initially completed in 2012 by the Brazilian Geological Survey Department (CPRM). Analytical results (XRD) confirmed that lepidolite, amblygonite, and spodumene are the main lithium minerals.
The property is located just a 3–4-hour drive on paved roads to the port of Fortaleza. The topography, land use, and vegetation at Solonópole are well-suited for exploration activities. It is arid, sparsely populated farmland with no rain forest. Northern Brazil provides accessible shipping routes to North American and European battery chemical markets.
