Solonópole Lithium, Brazil

PROJECT SUMMARY

Ballistic has an option to acquire a 100% interest in a Lithium pegmatite-rich concession located in the Solonópole pegmatite district of Ceara State, Northeast Brazil, approximately 40km from the city of Solonópole, in an active mining area. This concession consists of 4 mining claims and spans over 4,813 hectares in size. Recent 2023 samples returned a number of very encouraging lithium grades up to 5.03% Li2O.

PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ballistic Battery Metals has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Lithium claim package.

  • Northeastern Brazil claim package with abundant pegmatite targets: Hard Rock Lithium.

  • The Lithium Property consists of 4 claim blocks and spans 4,813.57 hectares. It is located in the coastal state of Ceara in Northeast Brazil, 40km from Solonópole, in a known pegmatite mining district.

  • Approximately 30 km southeast of Oceana Lithium Limited (“OCN” – ASX), which recently sampled up to 9.89% Li2O, over 1% Ta, 1% Nb, over 1000 ppm Tin, and over 2.5% Be.

  • Ballistic’s concessions host multiple abundant pegmatite targets and have returned recent 2023 samples of:
    • 5.03% Li2O
    • 3.72% Li2O
    • 3.41% Li2O

  • The initial work program indicated abundant, long, and wide pegmatite targets that span up to 100 meters by 300 meters in size and are largely unexplored.

  • Planned work programs:
    • Identify and map pegmatites across the property
    • Sampling and trenching on high-priority pegmatite targets
    • Drilling program

PERMITTING

The Solonópole permits cover historic artisanal mining sites previously mined for lithium, Coltan (tantalum and niobium), and tin. Historical small-scale mines have been identified in field exploration, creating large-scale opportunities with significantly underexplored highly prospective claims.

GEOLOGY

A regional geological assessment of the Solonópole Pegmatites was initially completed in 2012 by the Brazilian Geological Survey Department (CPRM). Analytical results (XRD) confirmed that lepidolite, amblygonite, and spodumene are the main lithium minerals.

ACCESS

The property is located just a 3–4-hour drive on paved roads to the port of Fortaleza. The topography, land use, and vegetation at Solonópole are well-suited for exploration activities. It is arid, sparsely populated farmland with no rain forest. Northern Brazil provides accessible shipping routes to North American and European battery chemical markets.
